In 1977 I started my journey as a health practitioner. I researched, then personally experienced, every technique I use or recommend to bring health and well being to every mind, body, spirit and soul that comes to me for guidance. I started with vitamin supplements as a means to better health. In 1979 I began practicing Hatha Yoga as a means to correct my hormonal imbalance and succeeded! (no menstral cycle for one year-six days of doing one yoga posture my menstral cycle began.). In 1982 I started teaching high impact aerobics. Continuing to research health, I branched out into the fitness industry to become certified as a Weight Trainer, then a Fitness Specialist and later developed my own method of mind/body integration techniques using free-weights and select weight equipment for desired results. In 1994, I started working with chiropractors, specializing in torso strengthening and helping patients eliminate back pain.

After gaining positive results through reshaping bodies I felt a desire to study the muscles in the face. If you can reshape and strengthen the body’s muscles to look toned and youthful then why not work the 57 muscles in the face as well? Results with muscle fitness were wonderful but I felt something was missing. In researching “The Holistic Approach to Health” for the prevention of disease, I discovered that with the integration of pilates, nutrition, reflexology, energy awareness (Chi cong, Tai chi, Reiki) and weight training and Hatha Yoga one could achieve the overall best results. I was excited to find out that Bikram’s Sequence of Hatha Yoga was one of the few yoga classes that worked the whole body inside and out in the 90 minute class.
